Sustainability is the thread that runs through everything we do. We believe in following a conscious and responsible approach of creating products that are premium, timeless and intended for a longer-lasting life.
7 Rules
7 Rules is an initiative by GANT aimed at curating and maintaining a sustainable wardrobe. In the spirit of our motto Never Stop Learning, we encourage a more circular approach to fashion by inspiring everyone to create a longer-lasting relationship with their garments.

Repair
Even garments of the highest quality eventually get affected by wear and tear, but a little mending can go a long way. A stop at your local tailor is a clever way of prolonging the lifespan of your garment.
Refresh
With a little extra care, your garments can age better and last longer. Whether you’re wondering how to dry your favorite Oxford shirt or store your softest knits, our store staff are always happy to share their knowledge on garment care with you.
Relove
From its earliest days, GANT has created high-quality classics from durable fabrics that last a long time. We want to invite our customers to be a force for change by extending the life of their clothes and reusing ‘pre-loved’ garments.
Remake
Our efforts to limit waste and make the best use of every fabric scrap is ongoing. We previously launched limited-edition collections with unique pieces made from leftover fabrics from our design studio and factories. More exciting initiatives are currently underway.
Regive
We believe that everyone should have access to clean water. In partnership with WaterAid, we have created the Conserve Every Drop Project – an initiative aimed at providing communities in the Bangalore region of India with access to clean water and sanitation. This is a part of our ongoing commitment to the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
Recycle
Recycling is key to circularity and should be a natural step of every garment’s life cycle. We have partnered up with the organization TexAid to promote recycling and circularity. We encourage our customers to recycle their discarded GANT items in our stores. By recycling, you’ll help unwanted items find a new purpose instead of ending up in landfills.
Rent
To further inspire a reuse-and-recycle philosophy, we've partnered with HURR, an online rental service for occasion wear and tailoring pieces — only available in the UK. Apart from minimizing consumption, renting a garment for a one-time event is also a great way to discover the GANT world.
