Patrik Nilsson from adidas Group named new CEO for GANT AB

GANT AB has appointed Patrik Nilsson as CEO effective August 1, 2014. In this role Nilsson will lead all GANT’s operations globally and will report to the Chairman of the Board, José Luis Duran.
Patrik Nilsson joins GANT from adidas group, where he most recently held the position as President of adidas North America. Nilssons appointment underlines GANTs clear ambition of a strong brand culture in an international lifestyle arena.

Patrik Nilsson has a 23 year long and successful track record with the adidas Group. Since 2007 Patrik has been the President of adidas North America, and since October 2013 he additionally assumed the responsibility for Reebok North America. Under his leadership adidas North America has delivered record-breaking growth and doubled its profitability.
